- Two Excellent vintage Kensington Ware Ashtrays with beautiful construction and design.
- Aluminum Vintage Pipe Ashtray w/ Cork, Circular Metal Ashtray, Pipe Holder, Cigar, Pipe Rest Caddy, Cigarette Ashtray,
- “Kensington” (These two Ashtrays are incised on the back with the Kensington logo.)
Kensington Ware was originally made from an alloy of aluminum invented in 1934 by Alcola in Pennsylvania until 1970. It is very lightweight and does not tarnish.
- Both Ashtrays are the same design and feature a removable cork.
- One of the ashtrays is NOS, New Old Stock, and the other was used and does have a slight discoloration in the bowl from normal use. The cork in the used ashtray is also a little bit darker than the unused ashtrays cork. Obviously, the used ashtray has wear and tear and the cork has some burn spots on it, and slight discoloration, wear on top where a pipe sat.

For measurements, I use a Kobalt Caliper, and for the weight, I use a Weightmax Scale Model.
For Gemstones, I use a Presidium Gem Tester, but using the gemstone tester I cannot tell the difference between synthetic and real gemstones.
I research intensively but many times it comes down to my best guess and based on experience, but I am far from an expert on jewelry.
